In a single go... with one creature... I could see myself spending upwards of seven or eight days on it.

And a ton of those wonderful all nighters that get you in trouble the next day.

Gotta love it!

Just more proof that I am right about everything and have been right about everything since at least May 24, 2005.

I am the righest

I fear this may be the death of Will Wright (as a game developer), the amount of people who will be disappointed because they haven't been bothered to read more than a half page of old info will be many more that those how have read and watched all the interviews.

The sound of people eating disgusts me. I like to eat alone for this reason.

You're like my mom and younger brother, except they'll bark you out of the room for eating quietly with your mouth closed. :/

Yay! My first post! lol.

Anyway...

I'm not sure there will be unevolved versions of your creature running around, but technically that isn't even the way legacys work in the sims. (you of all people should know that pinstar. lol.)

What I think would be cool is sort of a Darwin chart type thing. Everyone knows the picture of the guy going from the amoeba to that thing to that other thing (i believe you can fill in the blanks here) and moving up till finally reaching modern man. I think it would be fun to click on a button and see something a little like that for your creature. Showing how far you came. It could be updated every time you evolve your creature.

(unfortunatly that's just an idea. and as cool as it may be it won't go far if nobody sees it. maybe i should post it on the sims 2 bbs too. I know the people at maxis comb the boards every once in a while. I've seen them reply to things.)

lol. LOL. lol. lol. LOL. LOL. lol. lol.

Also, context for those of you who don't remember Pinstar: in addition to posting on here, he was somewhat of a celebrity in the Sims 2 community for inventing a play style called the "Legacy Challenge."

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's accurate.

Had the same problem when it came to watching people eat on TV

I've got this one friend. I love him, but his eating habits make me wish he'd burn alive.

This guy has no concept of taste or flavor. He will shovel any food (ANY food) down his throat right away. He barely chews and eating is purely and simply a means of not dying. It's sick. And the worst part is that it has infected all his eating habits. You can tell he is eating too fast, too. His stomach literally heaves afterwards as all the air he swallowed gets released.

I've cooked nice meals for my friends at gatherings and everyone enjoys and savors. Not him. Even nice, good food will just get inhaled. He won't eat veggies either.

Best friend. But I like him less every time I'm around him when he eats. :P

What an idiot.

If I didn't care how food tasted and could just shove it down my cakehole as a means of pure sustenance I'd eat a ton of those disgusting healthy foods like organ meats, bran-based products etc in order to be a health colossus. But apparently this idiot doesn't even have the decency to use his dubious superpower to its full potential.

Good job I now hate your friend as well.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

ahaha yeah

When it is my turn to buy lunch for the group it's always a pain. He never orders anything cheap and always inhales it in three or four minutes.

I'm almost always the slowest eater in any given group.  I'm not talking more than anyone else, I guess I just take the time to enjoy what I'm eating more than the average.
Probably not a Goat, either.
