I don't really know what I'm looking at, but it looks gorgeous.

Oh boy I can't wait for the new Star Wars prequel.

Wow I had exactly the same instinct while watching that.

It's so dense, there's just so much going on in every shot.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Apparently you're not really wrong, its' based on a french comic book that predates Star Wars.

Seeing the actual comic just makes the movie look even worse.

Thanks George Luc-Besson.

I like how weird it looks. Some of the designs are mildy unsettling, which is great in sci-fi. Hopefully it doesn't suck.

New Trailer!  Still weird!  No idea if I'll be able to talk anyone into seeing it!

it's nice to see that sci fi doesn't have to be gritty and depressing so much anymore

I'm not sure what the plot is, but I do have one question.

What do I have to do to be able to watch this like now?

Dehumanize yourself and embrace the marketing.

Do people really think this looks good?

It looks scifi and doesn't look bad, and I've already watched everything I can find by that description.

I have a feeling this will bomb after watching King Arthur go down in flames.

Big cgi outside of Disney and Universal might be out of style, if not perhaps because the pair is dominating it so thoroughly
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

You're probably right.  Was the 5th element a big hit when it came out, thought?  I'm hoping for cult movie status.

I liked John Carter when I eventually saw it though, so what do I know.  John Carter is actually probably going to be a good comparison.

I don't think it would be great, but I could enjoy this form of entertainment to a satisfactory degree, unlike Lurk who tends to express his distaste for anything outside the confines of his prison-like standards of what he presumes to be good entertainment. But whatever, people are entitled to an opinion.

I for one could stand watching this though!
