Paranoia [fatal error: failed to retrieve edition number] edition
« on: September 05, 2016, 08:34:45 am »
As a loyal kickstarter backer I have the early release final version "Almost finished" PDFs for the new Paranoia RPG and celdur has made them into a mod for Tabletop simulator so we can play with chumps from the internet.

I'll try and run a game this Sunday at about 5pm British Time (currently BST). If you'd like to join you'll need Tabletop Simulator and also a working mic and willigness to talk via voice chat. The fast paced and comedic nature of Paranoia means it's totally unsuitable for playing via text in the current incarnation.

If you have no idea what Paranoia is or how to play that isn't a problem because I'll be running through the official published introductory adventures, which carefully introduce you to the rules and the setting of Paranoia as you play.

To sum up Paranoia briefly: You and the other players are clones living in Alpha Complex, a super-high tech sealed installation overseen by The Computer. As troubleshooters, it's your job to root out and deal with problems and threats to Alpha Complex such as traitors, terrorists and mutants.

Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Sounds pretty fun. I'll probably be down if I'm not pulled away for anything this Sunday.

I'm on board.

EDIT: Will we be using Skype or in-game voice chat?

Here are the players guide and setting guide. You don't have to know the rules before we play but it would help, especially the character creation part.
