Factorio - anyone else playing this?
« on: March 11, 2016, 10:32:16 am »
I guess it has been around for a year. I just picked it up a week ago or so. Basically a large automation game with really frustrating mob attacks. I'm hooked on it so far. Almost to the end of the tech tree finally.

I really love this game! Have not played the complete version, I've got some kind of demo/beta/whatever version from a while back that came from their website I think. It was a ton of fun then and I'm glad the devs are getting recognition.

Yeah I just checked. I'm on 0.9.8. What are we at now?

.13 is almost out I think?

its a fun game, but once you hit the end there's not much else to do.
I guess you could start over and ramp up the difficulty.

This game looks exciting! But I think I'll wait for either my birthday or a sale to get it. I was only mildly interested at first, then the same night I had a dream I was playing it and I'm now excited for some reason.
Yeah, [Kishmond] came back from Africa, but the ponies have him now.

Yeah, the end game is pretty much the END. But it is a riot. Current Steam Version is 0.12.26

I have it on my wishlist. We will see when I get around acquiring it. But it seem cool. I do like the art style. Very old school 90's

I think this game falls into that category where I'd like playing it for a bit, then I'd start imagining and planning the big efficient routes and lines I could make, then i am satisfied with what my imagination cooked up and lack the patience to see it through since my imagination is just as good to me. Same thing happens in DF and prison architect.

Watching Arumba fills the need without the cost.

No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.
