No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

I have TTS and Netrunner has always been something I've meant to try my hand at. I'm pretty sure I already have a version of the LCG from the workshop but I've never actually used it.

Erops play with me or celdur or wizard. If you don't mind talking on skype then it really speeds things up. We won't mind doing a slow game to walk you through stuff. But really it's fairly simple to pick up. Within a couple of games I understood what to do as corp and then I beat celdur on my first try as runner (though he was incredibly unlucky in that game)

As for the tournament stuff, I'd really just like to try it out with the standard premade decks for everyone for the first time. We're all very new to the game and I think fumbling with deckbuilding right off the bat would just be frustrating for everyone.

Might be able to play with you a little later today if you're still around?

Yeah do some practice rounds. I don't imagine there's a rush for this to start immediately and practice is always good.

what sam needs to do is just make a tournament bracket, and then everyone can do their match at their leisure and post who won here.

That quote is actualy very witty, Celdur. I suggest you use that in your signature.

I'm down. A friend of mine who's pretty active in the local netrunner community pointed me towards the jinteki website for the purpose of playing online, but I'm sure TTS works alright too.

I've played a grand total of 3 games with the awful beginner decks the game suggests, with my little brother who also has never played. So I'm pretty new. So....maybe netdecking makes sense for this event, or at least preparing for it. I'm sure some website (stimhack maybe?) has decks that are good for learning purposes.

edit: I'm mostly free Sunday-Wednesday. Sometimes I'm free early afternoon other days. Depends on exams and interviews and other life stuff.

I like Celdurs rolling bracket structure.

A set a week, get the set done in the week.

Tesla is too poor to afford tabletop simulator. And yeah, I'll get some brackets done and some official tournament rules sorted out by the end of the week :)
