Inkling, what's your name in Fallen London?

Also, if anyone else wants to play, they should give one of us their email address. Various events have an option that gives a mutually beneficial reward and invites a new player.

Sometimes they open storylines, sometimes they give you valuables, sometimes a skill increase, etc.

They call me Doctor Worm.
Good morning, how are you? I'm Doctor Worm.
I'm interested in things.
I'm not a real doctor...
Probably not a Goat, either.

Hmm I don't think I can make any of you an evil apprentice until I'm a Legendary Charisma. Not sure how I do that but I'm sure all these controversial ballets I'm staging will help somehow???
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Cannot afford to buy a new game at the moment. Otherwise I'd play. :U

In the meantime, I have Pillars of Eternity to try out.

Fallen London is a free (with optional microtransactions) browser game.

Oh, and I'm EmmetOT. Because when I'm not Tesla I'm EmmetOT.

It looked like it was 18 bucks on Steam.

Must have looked at the wrong game.

Sunless Sea is a different game set in the same world, but we're all playing Fallen London.

It was fine until about 30 minutes ago.

The gym I had to cancel my membership at is still trying to charge me for membership and I can't afford it. So now I've got penalties racking up because they keep trying and failing to charge my card. I just had my paycheck deposited, but if they charge me again tonight at midnight I won't have enough to cover health insurance which is due in a couple days. And if I can't pay that, I lose it and start racking up penalties from the government for not being insured.

So it was fine. But I'm still reeling from last week when my car insurance got jacked way up for seemingly no reason, throwing my budget all out of whack. Plus I have to move in two months, meaning I won't be able to keep my job. So I need a new job and it's all one giant ball of suck and I am sitting here wondering when I'm going to get a goddamn break because I am beyond tired of having to start my whole life over again. :|

Also I am Roquel.

Yeah I was down there using my persuasive skills on Melanie. She seemed sympathetic, so we'll see what happens.

I'm working on danger and watchfulness right now. Just bounced a bunch of people for lots of money and am now out of turns. What else should I be doing? Or does it not really matter?

Also how do I know if I've added you as a friend? And who sent me a mysterious gift? :o

I think the mysterious gift is just part of the story.

I've been playing for a few days and I still don't know what I'm meant to be doing. I'm just collecting all these resources for some reason.
