Quote
After an extraordinary effort to conceal a flattened catfish on his person, Waddell threw it onto the ice - in Pittsburgh - on Monday night. The Predators then scored three goals before Pittsburgh pulled out a 5-3 win in the opener. Waddell was charged with disorderly conduct, possessing instruments of crime and disrupting meetings or processions before they were withdrawn.

Isn't the MMA guy making some obscene amount of dosh for this?

Yeah he did.  Also it ended up being a better fight than I expected.

Boxing still sucks, though.

No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

So now boxman retires to spend more time with his strip club, and irishman goes back to UFC where he can demand bigger paychecks.

Inkling, the Olympics isn't the Olympics without excessive commentary on every available bit of minutia.

"Now here's the delegation from Belarus. Fun fact: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was the original inspiration for the Ted Danson series Becker."
What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

I donít mind them talking over the nation parade, a little commentary there is actually useful. Itís when they overexplain everything, talk over all the artistic stuff, talk over the in stadium announcer while theyíre saying the exact damn thing, admitting to cutting out part of the show to fit in more commercials, and then after talking nonstop they donít even bother translating the Korean prime minister or whoever that was.
