You can't repeal a motion? I must have missed that.

Well, nevermind. Disregard the repeal and count the vote. It'll probably get shot down anyway so no big deal.

Tesla, I've just checked the Constitution and no where does it say that a motion cannot be repealed. So, motion repealed.

Nowhere does the constitution say that you can officially rescind a motion. You can say you do, but that won't stop players from being able to vote on it.

I vote no on Tesla's Motion to Establish Numerical Perfection. (1 yes vote, 2 no votes)
I vote yes on Slinky's Motion to Make Self-Promotion More Efficient. (2 yes vote.)

I think we're all forgetting the most important thing for any democratic body.  We need a leader selected fairly through due process.  As such, I make a Motion to hold an election for the Prime Minister of the game.  Each Player is allowed one vote.  At the end of the day that this motion is passed, the Player with the most votes is crowned Prime Minister.  While mostly a ceremonial role, they do have the ability to veto a single passed motion.  Every 4 days a new election is held for the next Prime Minister.  For the purposes of voting, this motion shall be referred to as Martyk's Motion to Install Fair and Just Leadership.

I make a Motion to amend rule 2 so that any rule-breaking is punishable by being disallowed from play for a period of no more than 48 hours. For the purposes of voting, this motion shall be referred to as Tesla's Motion to Make Rules Mean Something. (1 yes vote.)

Edit - Yes, yes, I know. I accidentally left Martyk's name in place of my own when I copypasted. ::)

Oh, and guys, please start properly labeling your motions as enactments or amendments. For example, Slinky's Motion to Make Self-Promotion More Efficient is more of an amendment to the rules on voting than a new rule.

I (Sam) make(s) a motion to enact a rule, which will be numbered 0 and be posted before rule 1, which states that rules have a priority based on their numerical order! The lower the number, the higher the priority of the rule in the event of a conflict! Any conflict between rules must be resolved referring to this priority! For voting purposes said motion will be referred to by the title Krakow Sams's Motion to prioritise rules! 1 yes vote!

I make a motion to amend rule five such that flargles are freely tradeable between players.  One player may gift flargles to another by posting "I transfer [amount] flargles to [name]" in bold italic text, wherein [amount] is replaced by the number of flargles being traded and [name] is the user name of the player receiving the points.  This transaction occurs instantaneously upon posting.  In addition, all players excepting Neoadept will receive ten flargles upon the passing of the motion.  This motion is known as Neoadept's Motion for Having an Economy.  One yes vote.
Nefarious?  Nearly.  Ne’er-do-well?  Never!  Neither nearly names this narrator.  Naive and knowledgeable, notorious and inscrutable, this nascent Nero is known naturally as Neoadept.
