I was very happy to hear that Capcom remade DuckTales. One of my favorite NES video games as a kid. I am downloading it from Steam as we speak and I cannot wait to relive the nostalgia of both the original game and cartoon show. The review above can tell you all the cool features. Note it apparently just came out on August 13th.

Note it is also available on WiiU, Xbox360 and Playstation3 for those who want a more authentic console feel. All I can say is "WOO-HOO!"

The only Ducktales game I played as a kid was "Ducktales - Quest For Gold". It wasn't a platformer (well, not entirely), but you had to make as much money as you could in a set amount of time to beat Flintheart Glomgold. Each level could be one of several different games, from a platformer section where you had to climb a mountain, to a safari-like game where you had to photograph the most rare animals.
Of course, when I played it as a kid, I had never seen the cartoon and I couldn't read any English. I never got very far, and I surely never finished it. But that's the only Ducktales thing I'm nostalgic for.
It runs decently in Dosbox though, so that's good :)

A bit off-topic, sorry >_>

The only DuckTales game I ever played was the early gameboy version. It was pretty fun but a bit unclear on what the objective was for the game. That might have been due to me not being that good at English at the time. >.>

Anyway, This is all I need from Ducktales atm. Might grab it later when I got some spare cash.
