I think it would be a good idea to help each other, like if you have great turnip prices one day let us know and open the gates so we can sell ours.

Also let us know if your looking for something special, maybe we have it. I'm collecting balloon furniture. I need the floor.

I have an extra yoshi egg, triple banana and peach umbrella if anyone wants to trade.

Collecting the Nintendo stuff.

Would love the triple eggs and the banana. Just got triple red shells today.

I used to have the balloon floor I think. Either that or I got two balloon walls. Gonna check now.

**EDIT**
I imagined it.

**EDIT EDIT**
But if it's any consolation, I just shot down a balloon closet.

I have the balloon dog lamp if you want it.
Probably not a Goat, either.

Again, I still don't understand the power button on the front face of the 3DS. Accidentally reset my game twice today. ::)

**EDIT**
Okay I think everything is now redone. I dropped the items off for you, M.

Been researching how to get Public Works requests from villagers. There seems to be a fairly solid method to get them to talk to you such that you can get a PW request per day.

Basically you empty your inventory so nobody that wants to talk to you will do a "I see you have
  • , can I have it?" type a request. Make sure you have a wetsuit with you, I keep mine in a blank letter as a gift (your letter space can be used for extra storage like in past games) in order to keep villagers from potentially seeing it or remarking about it.

So you run around town with an empty inventory waiting for villagers to want to talk to you. If nobody talks to you for the first pass, head into the water with your wetsuit. This seems to reset their conversation flag. Do this for a short span of time and when you go back to land villagers will once more try to talk to you. Generally speaking one villager will try to flag you down per trip to the ocean.

Give this method a shot if you're looking for more Public Works variety. :)

ALSO! Here is a list of villager personality types. Their personality type determines which buildings they will request.

**EDIT**
Just got a joke book from Club LOL. Now Villager has emotions!

Everyone keep your eyes on the turnip market. I just dumped 3 million into them this past Sunday and am looking to cash out. Will let you guys know if I have a good price both in-game and on here.

Also the shop is upgrading again, there's a new cafe being built, shampoodle is moving in, and a wind turbine will be up some time this week. And please come by for a visit and check out the new gardens I've installed. :D

**EDIT**
Just noticed there is a silver fishing rod and a silver shovel for sale in the museum. They're up for grabs, too. 500 each.

How did you get 3 million to start with? That's a lot of bugs.

My museum has upgraded to the shop upstairs, the clothing store is upgrading. One of my perfect orange trees died today so if you have any, be sure to save some fruit to keep planting. One of the oranges was rotten.

Will let you know about my turnips, today was not a good price.

How did you get 3 million to start with?

It's not that hard. You can pull in about 300,000 bells per island visit if you know what to look for and with practice you can do it in about 40 minutes. So I spent the first week I had the game building up to 5 million bells. Then that Sunday I took 1/5 of that and it went into turnips. The rest went into my house and public works.

I've basically got two accounts. My turnip account and my spending account. The spending money goes for whatever, and I try to take at least 1 million from turnip profits to put into turnips. This past week I took 2 million. The rest goes into my spending account.

The first week I made a nice profit of about 1.5 million. Plus I had another 4 million from bug collection and other odds and ends. The second week I had about 3 million in profit but was spending a lot on upgrades at the time so most of my money was spent. This past week I put 2 million that was left from the week before plus a bit more I'd made and came up with the current haul, which I expect to get at least 10 million from.

I hope to balance it out so that I am pulling in `10 million bells per turnip run. That'll give me a nice cushion to work with and any extra I make goes right into spending/public works. I wish I was this savvy in real life.

You play this game on an entirely different level than me.  But hey, I caught three sharks the other night, so I got that going for me.
Probably not a Goat, either.
