There was this one crazy campaign I was running where the players found this goblet that allowed the user to create one power with literally whatever traits they want. This one dude created a power called something along the lines of "**** Yeah Dr. Magic Missile McBatman", and when you said the name, the power did something like this:

**** Yeah Dr. Magic Missile McBatman
Encounter
Free Action

This form of magic missile always hits every enemy you choose, destroys them instantly, and grants you HP equal to yours plus the sum of all of theirs.

It wasn't a very serious campaign so I let him do that, although it kind of screwed up the balance of the game.

Did the effect at least ever wear off?

What a boring spell...
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that there was some side effect, I think. Like if you rolled a 6 on any check you switched bodies with someone? I don't know, it was really dumb, but kinda fun.

PAX Day 3 Report:

I spent most of my day just wandering around, hopping on little games and hoping to win an XBO. There are only a couple games of note.

Peggle 2: Pat I played Peggle 2, it totally has Peggles in it, you should be jealous.

Lords of Waterdeep: A Euro type economy game with a DnD skin for good measure. Totally had a blast with this game. Basically each player runs and inn, each inn tries to complete missions buy getting enough adventures together (wizards, clerics, rouges, and fighters in wooden cube form) and then collecting victory points for doing so.

Spy Party: I've seen this game at the last 2/3 PAXs and I finally got around to play it. Basically one player is a spy at a party trying to do sneaky spy stuff, the other player is a sniper trying to figure out who the spy is and shoot him/her before time runs out. It's easier to be a spy, I was able to to all four of my objectives and the sniper only suspected me for a little bit. As a sniper it's not easy to figure out who the spy is and I ended up shooting the wrong person very early into the game. I asked a guy when it was going to come out, and he said, "When it's ready." So I expect it to be at a few more PAXs. Will get when it finally comes out.

Later this week I will continue the tradition of giving away beta codes and other such things that i collected at PAX, including League of Legends codes. Keep an eye out for that thread!
I need a new tag.

Our PAX weekend was pretty awesome. Seattle is a nice city, great coffee and good food. Everything is kind of blur now but we bought t-shirts and pins, played the next DLC for Borderlands 2, attended some great panels like Gearbox and a really funny Improv show. I'll just show some photos.

Santa, me and Ovi

We (Santa, Ovi and I) made the leader board on the Borderlands 2 DLC play test. We are the Gaming Steve team near the bottom.

Seattle waterfront. We ate a fabulous dinner there and rode the Observation Wheel.
