I hope they work on advancing the Dungeon Keeper formula. Evil Genius added a little spice to the mix but overall the entire genre is stale.

It's stale because it's dead. The best bet to get an advance it is for some rip-offs to generate interest.

A wise Surface to Air Missile once said about marrying 9 year olds in Saudi Arabia "Its pretty hard to tell if a 9 year old is going to be hot when she grows up, kids change a lot, usually, seems like a bad system. That cute little nine year old you married could end being a fat, zitty teenager."

Could you guys please explain why you think the Kickstarters you link here are interesting to you?
I could watch the video and read the page, but usually they're not too specific (and they can take too much time to watch/read). Plus opinions are fun!

This. A thousand times this. If you're posting it here you should try to sell it to us, too.

Posting this because it might interest Operaghost and Grazony.

If you throw in $500, you get to submit your own character design.

I want that to exist but wouldn't actually buy it until it's like 75% off in a steam sale I would then probably never play it

:I

Edit: Hey looks like it's going to exist. That's nice.

Have you ever dreamed up some piece of technology then forgotten about it, only to find out years later that someone is actually making it?  Well, that just happened to me.  I've never wanted something on kickstarter as much as I want this.

Probably not a Goat, either.

a conductive plastic or something would be cool to make impromptu electronics, perhaps even a nylon sheath or something could be extruded over that?  it would be like a bendy wire haha, i can see uses for this stuff

this was something which already ended, but is still interesting, basically gamifying the process of learning japanese into a fullfledged JRPG

Every time I see this I think, 'Neat, but what would I actually do with it?'

Nothing. I got nothing.
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

God why can't people make gifs that loop at a decent frequency? It can't be that hard to not make some useless, jerky piece of crap.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.
