Hilarious Mime Routine
« on: March 28, 2005, 05:43:36 am »
I just saw this clip of a mimer doing this fantastic routine to a Natalie Imbruglia(sp?) song... the more you watch it, the funnier it gets.  This guy is a genius!

view the web page's source code (View>Source on IE) and do a search for ".wmv," and when you find it (I think it's called torn.wmv for this page) then do a search for that video file in your computer's cache (hit the Windows Key + F, to search, make sure to scan hidden and system files/folders)

you can do this with a lot of pages to get media you want, since anything you view on the internet has to be downloaded to your computer in the first place (unless it's streamed). Some web pages have gotten smart, and embed certain files (notably .swf files), so it's harder to find their name, but almost all pages with video are easy to find.

Hope this helps. ;)

That wasn't really a mime routine, mor like a funny sign language thingy. Mimes are those guys on the streets with white faces who are stuck in boxes.
-Just like Gaming Steve all of my ideas, suggestions, and comments are merely edjucated guesses. These are based on prior experience and current released info.-

No, mimes are people who use their body language to represent a situation.

mime   Audio pronunciation of "mime" ( P )  Pronunciation Key  (mm)
n.

   1.
         1. A form of ancient Greek and Roman theatrical entertainment in which familiar characters and situations were farcically portrayed on stage, often with coarse dialogue and ludicrous actions.
         2. A performance of or dialogue for such an entertainment.
         3. A performer in a mime.
   2. A modern performer who specializes in comic mimicry.
   3.
         1. The art of portraying characters and acting out situations or a narrative by gestures and body movement without the use of words; pantomime.
         2. A performance of pantomime.
         3. An actor or actress skilled in pantomime.

I think my point is proven, thanks.
