Wow, all that in 2 weeks? I can only imagine that's one hell of a rollercoaster, though the fact they caught it so early is great.
It's a shame that the entire process of healing nearly always involves "Oh god I didn't even know I HAD muscles there, let alone USED them so much!".

All there is left to do now, is suffer through the impossibly awkward aches, and then you'll be back on your feet again!
Just remember to take it easy, even when you have good days, never risk doing too much. It sounds harsh, but "Your health is more important than your pride" rings very true here.
Don't be afraid to rely on those around you. If you really want to pull your own weight, make up for it after you're 110% recovered!

I have never been good with words, but suffice it to say I hope you get through this with the least amount of dicsomfort as is possible, and I'm glad you are still alive.

Thanks, I'm glad to be alive too ;)

The mental part of this is starting to wear on me. It's been really nice to read the comments here, makes me feel not so alone. Glad I decided to share this. I love my forum.

ps.. jokes are more than welcome :) I almost sneezed today, then it suddenly went away... thankfully.

I am so sorry to hear this LadyM.  :(

I hope you feel a ton better. My aunt recently had surgery to remove cancer from her breast. So I understand how scary cancer can be.

Also before I forget happy birthday in advance.

I cannot even begin to imagine what kind of impact this may have on you, but I am certain it is big. You survive, but it makes you wonder. Life makes me wonder. Working at a graveyard this summer makes me wonder. All people die. Old. Even young. Eventually. But it is the life that matters, not the end of it. It's what you do in this world that matters. What you leave behind. What you experience. What it makes you think, how it makes you feel, what it makes you do.

You survived. Another experience. And you think and you feel and it changes you. Or it might reinforce you. The good side. I hope.

Just stay strong and be positive. Maybe you have lost something but maybe you have also gained something. Keep living.

Good luck, LadyM.

Well at least you can look forward to becoming the next She-Hulk.

No seriously though, I hope you make it through this with the greatest of ease.

So I was told that I would need radiation and I went to see the radiologists to discuss and ask questions. He went through everything and said he didn't think I needed it, my risk for it to come back was very low. That was wonderful unexpected news.

NO radiation!!!  No cancer!!!

New Playground!!

Glad to hear it's working out ok.

Or you end up with Super powers.

Though to be a bit serious. Radiations is a pretty safe treatment. Its used in such way to minimize damage. Other options like surgery is a lot more invasive and create a lot more lasting problems in comparison. But in the end is just a matter of having the right tool for the job.

Good to hear you do not need it LadyM.

Had my six week (which is really week 7) post surgery check up and everything has healed beautifully. I don't have to go back for six more months. I can now resume my life. :)

This will probably be my last update on this. Thanks again for your support and good wishes.
