Best Vampire Movies List
« on: December 23, 2005, 04:30:23 pm »
I would appreciate it if everyone here would contribute a list of vampire movies that they've enjoyed. Try not to repeat what others have said. I'll start it off;

Bram Stoker's Dracula
Lost Boys
Fright Night
Interview with a Vampire
Underworld

Nosferatu - it's especially amazing seeing it in a theatre with a live band that knows what it's doing , such as the Devil Music Ensemble - http://www.mass-dist.com/DME/

The Blade series is dumb fun :) Love the quote from the first movie: "Some (alternate description for people) always gotta run uphill..."

What in the hell is with this? Don't f**king post on the thread if you're just going to post this inane bulls**t. For ****'s sake; pirates, ninjas, robots, and zombies are not ****ing amusing. They amount to **** all in originality when it comes to jokes.

GAMINGSTEVE FORUMS, NEW YORK-
Mayor Stephen Glicker of "SporeTalk" fame recently promised to put a stop to gang violence, drug abuse, and traffic violations. "Therefore, I have appointed a new deputy. It is my sincere hope that LadyM's new ideas will help us rid the streets of these problems." It is not clear whether Jayce has lost his job or if the wacky duo will join up to fight crime (running time: two hours and twenty-three minutes.)

Also: Pirates, ninjas, robots, or zombies alone aren't amusing. Combinations of any two of those aren't amusing. Combinations of any three of those are quickly losing ground. At four, it just gets stupid.
"Fine. Don't believe me. I'm not lying. all your laziness which you mistake for something funney is driving me insane, quit fooling around!  dude this is just wrong, very wrong. reality does not consist of constrained language. go lock this thread malt. I love the payment."4MOD

I seriously thought a thread titled "Best Vampire Movies List" had to be a joke.

The only vamp movies I'd say I thought were good both happened to be comedies.
Dracula: Dead and Loving It
and I think the other was called Shadow of the Vampire...it had John Malkovich and Willem Dafoe...it was about the making of the film Nosferatu...sorta.
Use those talents you have. You will make it. You will give joy to the world. Take this tip from nature: The woods would be a very silent place if no birds sang except those who sang best.

Although it was a "bit" over the top - I actually enjoyed From Dusk Till Dawn. I thought the one with James Woods.... was it called "Vampires"? was interesting as well.

btw - great call on Fright Night, one of my favorite vamp movies.

Hilarious film and possibly the first appearance of a talking poo. ;D
I have this film on tape somewhere, I'll have to dig it out and give it a look.
