Yay Japan!

I finally changed my lamp today. I've only been putting it off for a month! I mean I had to change the whole system, and reconnect wires and everything. Thankfully I did not get electrocuted.

Just got my visa. Moving to Japan in January.

Keikaku doori

What a subarashi development.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Yes! Fixing broken stuff is always a great feeling. Actually when stuff breaks, after the initial frustration/sadness/anger, I'm a bit excited to see if I can make a DIY project out of it (though I make no claims as to my competence when it comes to repair.)

I always found fiddling with electrical things to be a nice experience. During my brief stint with a fencing club, I was asked to fix some of the scoring equipment since I was the only one with soldering tools. It's relaxing. I've done the same for a few broken speakers and headphones, but nothing too far beyond splicing and soldering torn wires. When I was 15 I tried to replace a broken capacitor on a graphics card with one I got from RadioShack. I didn't know about tiny electronics soldering irons or decent technique and I ended up melting a bunch of nearby wires. Fun times, but I tell myself the thing was busted anyway so I don't feel /too/ bad.

It also helps that nothing I was working with was actually plugged in while I was working with it, so the risk element was removed.
They're collectible! Sorta...

Hopefully opening up shop in a few weeks!

I have no corporate job anymore.

Yay!

Don't be afraid to offer awesome peanut cookies. But be totes safe with them since they'll harm the allergic and also melt gingers.

Bitched out an Aunt that I absolutely hate for the very first time.

When I was a kid, she'd get hammered at family events and then tell me how she hated me and thought I was the worst of all the cousins. I hate this bitch. Feels good. My sis probably won't be too thrilled, but honestly... she's in the bubble of the rich side of the family (which bitch aunt is the ringleader of).

Well, if she hated you anyway, what is there to lose!

whoooooo wheeeeeeeee

I think we're opening next week?

Depends on the electrician, but i mean, it sure seems like if they can get us going they can be done within the week, and then we're a go. Pretty nuts, I'm seriously anxious about it at. We were listed on Postmates as open temporarily and we got liek 5 orders in 2 hours so that was neat, it was like a wednesday mid-evening. That made us feel good. We got some like 30+ subscribers, so that's cool too. My gf's coporate friends all love the samples I've been supplying, so it seems like they might be a decent customer.

Idk. Things are going well, makes me nervous because I mean lets be real we have made $0 and spent a ton, so the sentiment is nice but I hope it's backed by sales once we open. I check google every day for competition and am terrified each time haha

Ah jeez. I think I am happy, it feels nice

please don't ruin my world mr. trump
