My personal triumph is remembering the URL to the board after all these years.

'Sup guys? It's been a while.

Not much! Glad to see you around again. Been trying to collect up old members that have vanished.

If you wanna play a game or whatever, let someone know! You have us on Steam? Shoot, you must be almost 20 now, right?

Yup, 20 in December. It's terrifying, I first joined up here when I was 11.

The only people I have added on Steam from here are you and Legodragon so I'll have to add the rest.

No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Likely somewhere between "blackout" and "fun-filled trip to the emergency room", my money being on closer to the latter.

Poor liquor cabinet didn't know what hit it ;)

Nice!

I want to feel happy for people getting good grades but a competitive part of my brain is worried other people getting a 1st dilutes the goodness of mine :Y
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

I got an extra 20 out of an ATM last week because two bills were stuck together.

That about covers my 2016 triumphs.

Legitimately, that's pretty rare. Those machines have mechanisms whose sole purpose is to prevent that from happening.

Good ****!

So I don't really post on the boards much anymore, or really play games much aside from occasional tabletop sim or overwatch with some of you guys, but I figured I'd be excited here since most of my friends are on the other side of the country and I need to be somewhat joyful somewhere.

Anyway, I'm going to med school! Albeit it's in Poland, but the human body's the same in every country, and I need to do well on the exact same board exams and go through the same residency process in the US if I want to practice in the US, so if I can do that there's not really gonna be much greater question about qualifications.  So if everything goes perfectly, seven years from now I'll be a practicing physician. I'm also excited that I can finally start learning the stuff that I've always wanted to, instead of wasting time on general education requirements and coursework that's not relevant to my interest.

Also I always thought Eastern Europe was a kinda neat place, so I'm looking forward to living there for a few years.

Not gonna be much time for  games though. Maybe in two years once classes get less hectic.
They're collectible! Sorta...

That's awesome Gungnir, congrats!  Know what kind of medicine you want to do yet?
Probably not a Goat, either.
