I sent you 177.28. Good luck finding someone who'll convert euros to dollars in the US, idiot!

Plenty of places are more than happy to convert it and take a healthy slice for themselves.

2 5000 word portfolios done in a week.

2500 words in 12 hours yesterday.

Used the words 'animated horse penis' and quoted Community in one of them.

What an odd life I lead.

These accomplishments are getting too serious, so I just have to share my achievements.

I've slept in five different locations in the past 48 hours. On the university's sofa, on a lawn outside the university, on the bus, on a beach near my house, and in my bed.

I ran into my crush two days in a row after months of not seeing him. He told me where he'd be today. I actually saw a picture of him on Facebook in that location. The event still lasts for 6 hours.

Ooh, I have a triumph! Well, I guess it's more of a general accomplishment but this seems like a good enough place to share it.

Having become a pretty big fan of Gundam in the past year I've also gotten into gunpla (Gundam plastic model kits). Anyway, the gunpla community on reddit is having a contest/competition, and I finally finished my entry! It's a custom model. First time I've painted a model, or custom-built parts or anything (which annoys me that, even though it's my first time doing this stuff, I'm entered in the advanced category instead of beginner, because these are advanced techiques and the criteria goes by techniques instead of something that makes sense like experience. Sorry, just a gripe). Anyway, even though I'm sure I won't win I'm super happy I did it.

The suit my model is based on:

The shoulder cannon actually rotates up and down!  ;D

Comparing mine to what it would basically look like out of the box (with no painting, etc)

Awesome! Used to be really into making models and stuff when I was younger. Makes me want to do it again.

A story I've written has been published in the university's annual media magazine.

Pretty good end to second year.

No, I didn't choose any of the pictures. That was some third year design students.

There's a lot of references in there. There was supposed to be a Firefly reference for one but they used my first draft for whatever reason.

By that I'm asking what you're referring to. It could well be subconscious.

Also looking pretty cool opera.
