Cooking rice in the microwave is a treat.

Reheating rice in the microwave is a feat.

The secret is to cover the dish in a wet paper towel to lock in the steam. Microwaves are very misunderstood and often overlooked as a useful tool in cooking. Lots of people simply see it as a quick way to do stuff or the thing that kills good food. But if you pulse the microwave in increments of 20-40 seconds and don't run it full bore on your food for a minute or two, you can really do some amazing things with it. As well, it's a good device to help start things that are going to be put into an oven.

Very misunderstood kitchen tool.

If you cut the ends of an onion and microwave it for 30 seconds you wont cry when cutting it.
If you stop and think about it, Your life's longer as an old guy than a kid. Scary o.o

So I posted a few pieces of art on reddit a week or so back, and the frontman of a pop punk band called Parasite Diet messaged me to commission a tshirt design. Never done art for money before, and like, the guy approached me. That's pretty cool.

Make sure you get a contract Slinky. Keep copies of all correspondence between you and this guy, that includes saving screenshots of any back and forth you had on reddit.

Don't want to put you off but you hear a lot of bad stories about people commissioning stuff from freelancers and then jerking them around. Don't want to have to go on Judge Judy to get your 900 dollery doos.

I sent you 177.28. Good luck finding someone who'll convert euros to dollars in the US, idiot!

Man the Euro has been wicked cheap lately. When my mom went to Spain a month ago it was like $1.04 when she was buying it.
