Boy Gauph I wish I had your courage.

I'm going to the Edinburgh Fringe! Granted it's front of house and I'm technically doing it voluntarily, but it gets rid of the massive anxiety of having a successful show and the huge expense of somewhere to stay.

I don't really know what that means, but awesome, Haseri!  It's a music festival?

It's a comedy/theatre festival, the biggest in the UK, that practically takes over the entire city for a month. I'm going to be taking tickets and generally being helpful for a venue, which is a collection of theatre spaces.

Netflix has or had a comedy special with Hannibal Buress called "Hannibal Takes Edinburgh." First time I'd heard of the Fringe festival was via that. It's a really interesting phenomenon.
They're collectible! Sorta...

Today was a 'walk around the Albany-area day,' which I feel is a triumph because I almost never do that and so I am putting it here.

I'll have you know our city has many other defining features and only 12% of them are Simpsons references.

I cannot argue against that statement.

So what are the non-Simpsons related features of Albany? Can it be used as a humourous substitute for your own lips?

It's in the song Fifteen Miles on the Eerie Canal
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

I believe I've mentioned it before, but to my recollection we do still have America's largest Wal-Mart.

That must be what happened to K-mart, but instead they just turned into zombie stores.
