http://dungeondefenders.com/

It's on preorder on steam now and you get a portal gun and tf2 familiars.

Games a mix of Tower Defense and ARPG with cartoon graphics

check it out, I've been waiting over a year for it to get released

The trailer on the sight just looks... messy. So much going on.
And the customisation looks pretty limited.

Through these eyes, everything looks mediocre and missable these days...

GET BEHIND ME LITTLE DOCTOR!
Oktoberfest!

Just that little medic makes me want the game.

You'll never know why.

I actually wonder how this will fare against Orcs Must Die. Which is also on Steam for pre-order, but also has a demo available to tinker with. It looks a lot cleaner and easier to understand, but Dungeon Defenders seems like it has more... soul, I guess.

I'll have to look into this stuff when i've slept. My eye-rolling about mediocre short-lived boringness might just be my inner grim talking. Stupid 'being single' again...

Orcs Must Die is singleplayer only, though.

Smeg...
Oh well, I shall resolve not to stare at Dungeon Defenders too much, as I resist the gravity of the "buy four-pack" button.

I bought it, I just hope there is something there. 'Orcs must die' at least had a demo to try out. I liked OMD and bought it. May my faith that this will be good not be lost on creative hype. (Yes, Spore, I'm looking at the chunk of HD space you occupy)

demo and app versions have been out on phones for a long time now and I've seen it

I just hope my PC can handle it let alone run it since I know I have a few games that I cant even start because of hardware issues (looking at YOOOOU  warhammer dow 2)

I'll be picking this up tonight after a nightmare midterm.  Looking forward to playing with some of you guys.
My steam ID is here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/rustyzippo

Perhaps a partial playthrough by will convince any holdouts:

Bonus points if you can tell me how many times the devs playing with TB say "hella"
Way too much

There is a Demo now available through steam. So give it a shot and see if you like it. :D
