There is a new version, it has a new terrain generator and supposedly improves the winglets.

Here is a full changelog: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=1871.msg16629#msg16629

EDIT: Might want to wait a bit. It seems he cocked up the stage editting. Its impossible to select and move the elements and put them in the correct stages

So, how do you update the game?

Does it involve arsing about with finding a working download? Again.

auch. Stage editing is very impotent on the more complex rockets.

There was a new version released, Version 0.10.1, that seemed to fix whatever issue I had. He also streamlined the drag physics, so it should work better. He also stretched drag calculations past 34500 feet. It goes up to 68000 now, and the drag is as small as  0.0000001 of whatever they use as units. It means that close orbits will slowly degrade over time :D

0.11 is out, and it adds a ton of new features, like time compression, maneuvering thrusters, and orbit viewer :D

:D

EDIT: And the next release will have THE MOON

EDIT EDIT: Apparently, THE SUN is reachable right now. Confirmation from the dev is here: Linky

I did the first step! A Successful orbital transfer :D

Periapsis is at 13,000m at about 500m/s

I am now tirelessly trying to figure out how to realign that orbit  with the moons orbital plane so I can get them back home :O

It was done in the Wiz 18, a beefier version of the other one. Protip: big ships are unstable with planetary rotation now, so you'll need additional struts running up the sides to stiffen them up.

Success!

So, successful orbital transfer, successful return trip, everyone survived! Hurrah! It was all accomplished with this mother:

It is the Wiz 18, but that name was boring. :D

It's up to 0.18.4, but everyone already knew that.

Now for something completely different.

Too lazy to look it up, but does the game allow you to multi-launch to build a space station now? (haven't played in a long time and am debating buying it)

That's what's in Celdur's image. There's basically not a chance in hell of launching something like that. KSP has docking and such now. Have to transfer crew through EVA if you feel like doing that.

Yes, there is persistent missions, and five planets, two dwarf planets, and nine moons to explore. It also allows you to design and build space planes now, although the aerodynamics model is still overly simplified (nose cones for example don't reduce drag).

You can click on your command module or kerbals in the corner, and go spacewalk. There are also internal views for command pods, probe cores that let you control a spacecraft without crew, docking modules for orbital docking, a few simple sensors. You can create maneuver nodes now on the orbital map by just clicking on your orbit path(You still need to perform the burn).

You can find out all about them in the wiki: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Main_Page

There is also a lot of support for mods, like in my picture, I used three different mods.

The Laser:

The Cockpit:

Motorized joints:

Also, I'll try to get you hooked on this Youtuber fellow. A very good player of Kerbal Space Program, and he has a Scottish accent! Here is his tutorial for docking:

Okay, wow.

Now this is a game I'd play. The old versions didn't have enough content for my liking but this is pretty cool. Thank you!
