[KSM] The Cryttors

The Cryttors

Cryttor without crystal shell
The Cryttors are the result of creatures who began hiding inside crystals for protection against dangerous radiation from the star Opos. They live on planet Ukora, under a big layer of rocks, crystals and metals. They are known for their amazing digging skill. Their claws are so strong that they can break metal. They have invented some small spaceships capable of traveling to other planets in the Opos system.

Biology
The Cryttors are, without their crystal protection, tiny tuscan-red lizard-like creatures with big black claws on their front pair of legs. Their diet contains small creatures and eggs. They are about 40 centimeters long, their tail is 15 centimeters. They have two pairs of eyes and one pair of nostrils. The front eyes are for looking in the dark, because they reflect much light. The other pair of eyes is for seeing more colors, because the front pair is colorblind. During the day, his front eyes are closed.

History
At first, the Cryttors were worm-like creatures living near the core of Ukora. As Opos began to radiate, they digged closer to the core. Eventually, they could not go deeper, because of the extreme heat. And they also could not go up, because of the radiation. So they developed ways to survive the radiation. One of them was hiding in crystals, which was the only one that worked until. But, during the radiation, the Cryttors became dependent of the crystals. They became slower, so the predators could catch them easier. So they kept the idea of hiding in crystals. Their society evolved, from tribes to galactic colonists. During this, they exterminated the predators and found ways to get on the surface. At the point that they could make spaceships, they were the only creatures on Ukora. So they started colonizing other planets, with creatures to eat. Today, they are the rulers of the whole Opos system.

Not finished yet.

Uh...
A star does not start and stop giving out radiation in the way you're going at it. Stars give out radiation through out their life sequences, and don't begin or end doing so half way through.
And how could they build spaceships without access to the surface of the planet?
Apart from that and a few grammatical errors here and there, seems pretty solid.

I fixed the star thing, and they eventually found a way to get to the surface.
No Badger, you say it like Kraitors.

I think he means Cry-Tors. Still very similar to critters.

Yeah, that's what I got too.
Actually, if you think about it, it's sorta clever. The spelling of it changes the enunciation to where it sounds different than it looks.
Touche, looka. Touche.

Cryttors? Cryttors? Freaking Cryttors?
That writing is so hacky, it's hacked up five lungs. That is such hacky writing, it's hacked into the Pentagon. What I'm trying to say here is...that's hacky writing, no matter HOW you pronounce it.
I mean, Cryttors? What is this, Donkey Kong Country in Space?

Oh, we all had this argument with the Photos, now I think they are a respectably establish race.

1) The name Photos resembling an actual word was coincidence, if my memory serves. Cryttors is clearly intentional.
2) The Photos are clearly not photographs and do not resemble photographs in any way, shape, or form. The Cryttors are obviously critters.
3) I'm the bad cop in this routine, so step aside, good cop! Don't make me sic UFO King on you! He'll go all encyclopedic on your asses!
Pray to God that Axe Cop doesn't get involved.

It isn't intentional. Cryttors wasn't based on any real word. The similarity with Critters is purely coincidental. Sorry for the late reply, i was on vacation.

Really? You didn't take the 5 seconds required to say, "Hmm this looks like the word critters, might want to change it more."?
