I am going to wait for all three systems to be released becuase

1. Price- Once all three are out there will be some good deals out there (not to mention bundle packs)
2. Hype- after we are removed from the hype of the release, I will be able to make a choice based on what matters
3. Compare- I can truly compare which system is best for me.
4. Games- After I wait a while I can see what games a system seems to be leaning too. (ie PSP leans sports and racing, while DS leans platformer, rpg, and creative things.)

Good luck in your console choosing

I'll be waiting unless some really compelling reason happens for me to buy sooner.  As far as the xbox goes, I can't imagine what event would cause me to buy it before the Nintendo or PS3 are realeased.  I think Halo is overrated.

i agree with all of your points.  If I really want a 360, the price will definately drop when the ps3 hits.  Ultimately, it boils down to the games.

That's what I did last time.
Though this time, I'll be waiting before I get certain systems for them to prove to me why I want them (namely by the games that come out for it). In the end, I -will- have all three. It's a matter of time.

I am most definitely getting a PS3 because of MGS4, but probably not right when it comes out because that's when you get harsh gouged. I'm not interested in the Xbox 360 too much; I'd like to see Elder Scrolls IV in play and get some more details on it.
The Revolution is a different thing altogether. I'm waiting to see how this crazy controller deal plays out. But still, the games tell me if I want it or not.

I didn't pick up any of the last generation until about a year after they were all out.  Then I got a Gamecube first because it had the games I craved the most, followed soon by the PS2 because by that time it had a billion good games I had missed.

I expect I will do much the same with next-gen since it worked out so well with the last one.  I noticed that buying the DS right away turned out to be a bad move, but now it is awesome.

Then again, I am way too curious about the Revolution. Pretty sure I'll pick that up within the first month.

I'll probably pick up the 360 in March or April sometime, but not before Oblivion comes out. Can't wait for that.

Also, I will purchase Spore for both the 360 and the PC. PC will be a better version (probably) but I can easily take Spore to a friend's house on the 360. I don't know why I added that.

THere will be Spore on the 360?  I thought it was PC only?

I'm not waiting, obviously.  Ig to my 360 launch day and am happy.  Most likely will be picking up Revolution sometime in the future.  Depends when I feel it is fit.  But with its low price tag (Under 200?  Count me in.) picking it up soon after launch wont be a burden.
Currently playing: Perfect Dark Zero, Golden Sun, Half Life 2

Where have you been? There's a 90% chance it's coming out on 360.

Steve confirmed back in May I think that Spore was being developed for the 360 alongside the PC. Hopefully it'll be as good as the PC version!
