Harry Belafonte Appreciation Thread
« on: June 24, 2011, 01:04:35 pm »
This is a very specific issue, of dear importance to me.
This is the thread in which we offer our appreciation of the man responsible for the song they played at the ending of Beetlejuice:
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpNk860pTO4" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpNk860pTO4</a>

And also this song:
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQXVHITd1N4" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQXVHITd1N4</a>

But no, this is not a Beetlejuice appreciation thread. That would be far too simple.

Instead this thread is dedicated to the man who has never written a song that you could not dance to.
All his contributions to music have been positive ones.
Type in his name on YouTube and pick a song at random. You will not be disappointed.

Discuss, please. Dance while you do it though.

What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

Trust me.
Probably not a Goat, either.
