Hey all, give the avatars a try again. It should work now. If not, let me know and I'll fix something.

The max size for your avatar is 100x100 pixels, but let me know if you find anything else. I am still tweaking the settings on the forums.

My avatar is an edited picture of my cat Caboodle winking.

Er. I changed it. That's not my cat. XD

Eh.. it's not bad.

here's the original that I made compact:

and I made this guy for an online bet that I could stop a blender with my bare hands. Got 2 coolness points for Canada.

I can't remember the size of my avatar but I htink it's around 100x100 if not it's pretty close. Also it's that merchant guy from VGCats. Scott has a great selection of avatars to leech from.

...and I'm not sure "Mofo" is a coucher(how do you spell this?) term here....

Heh, I'll change it. I got bored with the other one, so I mixed it up. I'll probably change it every so often until I finally settle upon one that I really like. But not quite yet...

I finally have an avatar, instead of just a pic of my actual face.
Cantus the Minstrel from Fraggle Rock, who often plays on his magical pipe ;D. He is wise and mysterious, it fits me quite well.
I took the screenshot from an actual episode, and added the eyes. It's funny, this character actually has squinty eyes on the show...

edit: after watching an episode, I found out this is actually "Mokey", who may or may not be a female. Either way it's a fraggle who meditates, and that's plain cool. I'm still trying to find an episode with Cantus, I want a pic of him playing his pipe as my avatar. He's only in 4 episodes and I'm trying to download them.

Series two kinda sucks. series one is a scream but i'd imagine most Americans wouldnt get it. its a parody of old Science for Schools programmes from the late 70s-early 80s. Every episode starts with a movie of say- people playing in a park or an old church and a voice over says: "look around you, look around you, just Look around you... have you worked out what were looking for?...correct! the answer is... it always turns out to be something which is at best tenuously related to the subject of that episode. a woman baking a pie turns out to be Water, and a man in white playing a strange hybrid of chess and checkers, against a man all in red, in space is the intro to The Brain. The shows are full of dud science and stupid experiments, like germs on a petri dish growing into a tree over night or spending five minutes finding out whether sulphur is attracted to magnets... may not sound funny, but it is.

Mine is two A-10 Warthogs (the kind of attack plane that I want to fly). Like Vivec, I like it, but I will change it a lot.
