THOR
« on: June 04, 2011, 05:38:26 am »
I'm surprised there wasn't a thread for this already. Saw it last night and really enjoyed it. I would say I liked it even more than Iron Man, which isn't too shabby. The cast were all really likeable, the characters developed believably, Asgard was really flipping cool, the villain was nuanced and interesting, the fights were cool but didn't drag on, and Natalie Portman was in it.
It actally made me kind of excited for the Avengers.

Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Bring me another!

*slams mug onto the ground*

I liked this too. Especially the subtle hints they've made connecting all the "Avenger" films. They must have something really epic in mind for the Avengers movie.

I'll say!
Who are you again and why in the world would you expect anything resembling rationality or civility in youtube comments?

I thought it was okay.

But then again, I watched a pirated copy as opposed to in theatres, where I saw Iron Man.

Yeah I liked it, It wasn't the greatest comic book movie I have seen still it was a bit underated. Filled with plenty of ass kicking.

Yeah definitely a good movie, well worth the price anyway. the only thing that disappointed me was my one friend who was super psyched for it, he told me that it was supposed to be comparable to the Dark Knight. That set my expectations way too high, but even with that it was very good
