What do you mean, "Waste"?

I have it. I've been playing. I might even get updates. Where's the waste?

In the fact it is still in a pre-alpha state? Paying pre-order for a game that bombs long before release would come under 'a waste' to me. :P
Wasted money, and so much wasted potential.

From what I can tell, it isn't a bomb yet.

and for 5 bucks, I put more hours into it than plenty of other games that cost more.

Besides, what's wrong with paying alpha games? Do they equate to zero value to you unless they reach some imaginary 1.0 number?

Nothing is wrong with buying a pre-order and recieving an alpha, but there is plenty wrong in pre-ordering a game that dies before it even reaches a fraction of its true launch state.
So tell me, why are you grasping at straws like this? You seem somehow offended.

Because he doesn't feel he's wasted his money, so it doesn't matter if they never release the game.

Hmm, is this game dead now? A brief ruffling around the forums reveals the last patch was September 11th, 2011. A relatively minor adjustment at that.
Anybody more in the loop able to shed some light?

No they didn't.

The game is getting a new patch within a couple weeks.

Ah. Good.
I just want this game to hurry up and move more towards 'reliable pre-purchase' so they can take my damn money and I can make with the zombie-ing. >:I

Never, EVER, buy into early access, Slinky.

It's 2014. We should all know this by now.

That's why I picked up the free demo! I'm waiting until I can be thoroughly disappointed by the full game, rather than mildly disappointed by the unfinished product.
