Anyone know how to make it so me and Serenity can play together? we have separate computers but are on the same network, when we look up our IPs they are the same. Its not connecting, any ideas?

That should not be possible.

Click on Start...
Choose RUN.
in the box type CMD and then hit enter
In the black box that appears, type ipconfig /all and hit enter
There should be an ip address there. More than likely starting in 169 or 10. That is the ip for your computer.

So... I just heard about this from some friends...

...and apparently the worms are worse than Creepers. Anyone got any stories of exercises in frustration from this game?
Who are you again and why in the world would you expect anything resembling rationality or civility in youtube comments?

running along at night not realizing your friend recently dug a whole straight down into hell and you don't have your grappling hook or bottle of clouds on hand so you fall to a terrible death

What is the alchemy part of that?
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Well... yeah.

Though I guess if we had posted the previous dev blog snippets, more people would have seen this coming.
We're also going to see unique death messages for the various ways to die, hardcore mode (you die once, your character is gone; world file stays though), and some spiffed up biomes.
The server software will also hibernate when nobody is on. Good news there.

I'll host another round when the update comes out. Shouldn't be long.

When I said "perhaps" I wasn't implying there was any degree of doubt to it. I was using the word sarcastically.

I guess that doesn't transfer so well to type does it?

What's the glowing ore? Is that new too, or have I just not been exploring enough?

If it's at the surface, it's meteorite.  If it's at the bottom, it's hellstone.

No, I mean in that video of 1.0.5 features.

This is what I'm talking about:

Are those ores new?
