Topic: Extra Credits

It's more the teacher than the class, I think. She's a cool person, but she is forgetful, unbelievably strict, loud, and harsh. Everyone I know who is in the class (Which is a lot of people) says it's one of the hardest classes they've ever taken, and honestly I've lost a considerable amount of faith in my ability to pick up any programming again after just about a year or so not having done any- Java simply doesn't want to compile on my computer whenever I try. It HAS to be a problem with the way I'm doing stuff, but I can't see what I'm doing wrong.

My schedule's already set this year considering this is second semester. There isn't too much point to take AP classes Senior year, is there? Don't colleges mostly look at your 11th grade?

Besides that, I'm likely going to community college for a couple years and then transferring to a university. With my family's financial situation I'll get in hells of easy and SMC is like, THE transfer CC in the state if I'm correct.

If only you had access to some sort of structured environment, in which you could be supervised by someone who had more knowledge of this subject than you do.

The main point of AP classes in senior year would be to get credit and skip out of future college courses.  The main argument against taking AP classes in senior year is you'll be a lazy senior.

Stack as many APs as you can in high school. Usually those intro classes you're exempting are huge and awful. And, if you don't take other classes to replace those in college, you'll just have a lower courseload for a few semesters.

The only options for AP classes senior year would be Physics, some sort of History, English, Math, Studio Art, and AP Comp Sci.

I DO NOT trust my math skills enough to do AP Physics or AP Math Analysis/Calc, History's my worst subject by far, writing essays is the most tedious thing I have to do in school and AP Lit's nothing but, my drawing skill's still crap, and like I said I'm still considering AP Comp Sci.

So haha, I screwed myself over with not taking any before now!

The fact that I took a ton of AP classes saved me later in college when I kept changing my major. I would not be anywhere near on track for a fourth year graduation without them.
