Two parts to cash in like Harry Potter or because they realized that the rest of the series is composed of disjointed-too-long films?

Better yet, go watch it in HD and full screen.

The trailer has alternate endings.
Nefarious?  Nearly.  Ne’er-do-well?  Never!  Neither nearly names this narrator.  Naive and knowledgeable, notorious and inscrutable, this nascent Nero is known naturally as Neoadept.

Anyone else seen the movie yet?  It's really good!  It's not Lord of the Rings, there is of course a bit more slapstick since there's 13 Dwarves, and you can definitely tell Guillermo del Toro was involved.  And it's really good!

Though I'm not sure about Radagast being ****faced the whole time.

Saw the movie yesterday and thoroughly loved it. The writers did a very good job including supplementary material throughout the movie and laying out the groundwork for character motivations and just general reasons for people being where they are (or are not). As well, the tweaks they made to the canon were done well and in my opinion were acceptable.

I am referring to Azog, mostly. According to canon he is beheadded outside of Moria by Throin, rather than just losing an arm. And while the losses of the Dwarves are great, but they refuse to enter Moria because a) it isn't their home and b) Durin's Bane lurked within... you know, the Balrog.

Just saw this, loved it.

I will never get tired of Gandalf's badassery.

Also back off Radagast Inkling, he was my kinda guy.

Agreed. Don't be such a sour man, Saruman.
