Mind if I pick at grammar?

It was inevitable, not as many people was as quick with a pistol...

In this sentence, "was" should be "were." Also, you seem to be switching between present and past tense. You need to pick one or the other. Since you did mostly past tense, I'll use that for my part, which I will begin writing now.

Ah yes!

For these games we typically write in the past tense using third-person limited omniscience. Keep it uniform, guys!

She was still warming herself up when she felt a shove from behind, and was thrust up againsrt the heat duct, burning her forearms.

Also, found a spelling error.

No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Ovi and I have the spelling and grammar OCD. Don't worry about it, he's not trying to cause harm. He just wants as perfect a product as we can render. Which is something we should all strive for! :D

Also, to clarify on my previous post, I'm not saying we have to ALWAYS write in this format or that format. What I'm saying is that whatever format we choose, we need to stick with it.

I'm still working on mine, but... need sleep.

Also, does length matter?

I had a similar thought while driving in the car earlier today. The prospects excite me in the worst way.
