I really think that the story of this movie might end up being the most compelling out of all the other X-Men movies. I due hope that it is not the disaster that the Wolverine movie was.

Mutants mucking about with the Bay of Pigs sounds promising.  I'm a fan of Beast, hope he gets a good amount of screen time.
Probably not a Goat, either.

I really liked Frasier's version of Beast in 3.  Pretty much the only thing I liked about it.

Origins: Wolverine was pretty bad, which was why they scrapped Origins: Magneto, but this one is essentially a rewrite of that script to incorporate more of Xavier and the school, though pretty much just First Class in name only, and not a lot to do with the comic series.  Time will tell if they can pull it off, or if it will be another dud.

Saw it last night and I think it's the best X-Men movie. Magneto is a badass, there is winks and nods to the nerds, and they did a good with the relationship between Professor X and Magneto. My only complaints is some of the bad mutants they didn't develop, other then "hey i make whirlwinds." Also at the end when the government goes, we need to kill these mutants now seemed a little sloppy. Other then that it's a fun comic book movie that I would think most of you would enjoy.

I agree with pretty much everything santa said.  It was a really fun, absolutely dripping with the 60's.  It's just a shame that supposedly the two smartest mutants, Beast and especially Professor X, were such idiots at times.
Probably not a Goat, either.

X-Men Muppet Babies is what one review called it. I'm sure I'll catch it on DVD someday.

What review was that?  I'd like to take a look at it.  I don't remember there being this much Kevin Bacon or Nazi killing in Muppet Babies.

When I was a kid I loved watching Muppet babies so that's an additional reason for me to see this movie right there.
