Best payoff.

You've been waiting a while for this, haven't you, Ink?

Two years, one day, and twelve hours, but who's counting.
Probably not a Goat, either.

We are all counting.

On him.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

How do you feel being back? Is it strange? Have things changed? I know that you've probably changed. Two years is a long time to be away from family. Must have been emotional coming back.

Now get a DS and animal crossing and join us. :)

Suddenly my whole family has smartphones. My brother has a tablet and sister has a laptop. I found that pretty strange. I hardly even recognize my youngest brother anymore. Just got done watching The Hobbit.

What can I say? These two years have and probably will continue to change my life. Those who have not served a mission have no reference point so it's impossible to let you know what it was like but I can talk about events. I've spent a while thinking but without referring to my journal I can't think of something that would be interesting beyond strange food or being chased by dogs. I was able to help make a difference in many people's lives. Yes, there were conversions and baptisms, but I'm not sure you would be interested in all that stuff. Maybe part of the reason I can't think of much right now is because as I get home it all seems like a dream. It was the same way I felt when I got there. Through these 2 years without them I still enjoy video games (and yes, even My Little Pony). You'll see me on Steam catching up.

Yeah, [Kishmond] came back from Africa, but the ponies have him now.

You're thinking about what we might like or not like too much!! ;)

We wanna hear what kinda fun you had. What stuck out to you? What meant a lot to you? Who cares what we think? We're a bunch of chumps anyway. :P

Oh and most importantly: how was The Hobbit?

The Hobbit was great! Man of Steel was also very good; I saw that yesterday.
Here is a picture of me with Table Mountain in the background.

And here's further proof:

ONLY IN AFRICA.

That's the best billboard ever. So, what do you think of the Half Life 3 announcement?

Yeah, we're still waiting for an announcement...

So did you make any good friends while you were there?

At one point we visited a family and noticed a pile of rubble where their neighbor's shack used to be. She told us the guy living there had been stealing people's things and they got fed up, so they went and tore his shack down. Mob justice is not an uncommon thing.
