Peanut Butter.
« on: December 21, 2010, 06:29:51 pm »
I got your back Gungnir.

This is the spot.
This is the place.
This is where we discuss that food/condiment/school crafts birdseed adhesive/all-purpose paste of fantasy that we call peanut butter.

Look at it:

So modest, yet so delicious. Capable of filling nearly all our otherwise hollow cups of chocolate and still having enough left over to spread on our most ambitious of sandwiches.

The question is, what have you done for peanut butter in return?
Not much, I am sure.
An unbalanced relationship indeed.

Please feel welcome to converse on these and other related matters.

What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

It's about time we get a food subforum. :|

So, if any of you are familiar with the cyanide and happiness short 'Noodles,' that about sums up my relationship to peanut butter. I'd link to it, but it's not exactly family-friendly.

Anyway, there's that, and then there's the actual consumption of peanut butter. So good. So creamy. So warm. So mind-bogglingly-scrumptious. But, is there a way to get it to not stick to the roof of your mouth? I mean, it's really good, but that part is somewhat irksome.

I feel like nutella and peanut butter should have a competition. Perhaps...a POLL!

No, no, no poll... for we have seen the peanut butter, and we declare it to be good... but there lies the problem. Creamy or Crunchy? Texture is an important value of food, if not, tofu would be king, so dear reader, where do you stand on the creamy and crunchy debate?

(wonders if there is peanut butter vodka)

I'm with Brandon. It doesn't help that crunchy feels like someone put baby powder in it in all the brands I've tried.

Crunchy. I can't eat creamy anymore. It's too dull.
Yeah, [Kishmond] came back from Africa, but the ponies have him now.
