I always thought them and the High Elves were the sort of 'asians'...
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Their culture in Morrowind has a lot of influences from Asia, so yea kind of.

Well... BLEH!

All I see are higher-res models and the same kind of BS they showed us when they lied about Oblivion. DEMO!

To be honest. They have always had a bit of a trouble getting faces to work (And even bodies). There just not lifelike or artistic enough. Fans do a lot better job. And i am not talking about those silly nude anime whatever crap that some fans seems to like to put in these games. Heck one of the only mods i used to use in morrowind was a better heads mod. And that actually used less polygons then the orginal model.

The Dunmer looks ok (not stellar). But I have to see more because i can really judge.

The combat looks a lot like it did in Oblivion, except you can mix and match now. I've always argued that combat is what Scrolls is worst at.

Sorry, I mean Elder Scrolls. I got them confused again.

Haha I get that joke. :P

And I liked the combat... was the most 'realisticish' for any fantasy rpg I've ever played, which I appreciated as it is a nice change from dice rolls. I am excited to shoot fire and swing a sword haha.

I cannot judge the story yet as I know little and have yet to play it.

Oblivions main quest was lame, but the side quest were cool.

You guys actually like combat in The Elder Scrolls?

Shall I end your lives now or would you like to say goodbye to your loved ones first?

No, I liked Oblivion's combat, Morrowinds however was so bad I couldn't play past the first 30 minutes. I cant say anything about the others as I haven't played them.

Oblivion's archery combat was alright I guess. Spells in the other hand felt pretty weak
Melee combat didn't feel very responsive when you hit your target. It was like hitting something with one of those foam rubber swords.

They have improved this in Skyrim though.
It's not perfect but now melee combat seem a bit more responsive and spells look freakin' awesome when used.
Archery seem to be the same though.

Edit: Oh here's a thread from the Skyrim forum(Don't go there too often, it's usually a dirty place) with a few screenshoots of the races.

I'm with pat... The main reason I can't bring myself to choose anything but mage is because the combat is so shoddy. It boils down to just swinging a weapon wildly while the guy you're fighting moves randomly to try to block you. Never really appealed to me. Even if they had an option for auto-aiming or locking on to opponents for noobs like me, the combat would be so much smoother and so much better.

Speaking personally, I think the combat should be about how good my character has gotten, but the way it is now it seems that 80% of the combat is just hoping that I, the player, can land a blow.
