Tangled

Another family movie run. This one I actually enjoyed however. It flowed well and even though it is predictable and a reused plot line it was good. There are a lot of nods to similar movies and TV shows, with several to Monty Python. The pace was pretty smooth so you didn't feel like falling asleep. It is also a semi-musical, which kept the kids quiet. Worth seeing, definitely worth renting.

I also heard a lot or reservations about how good this movie will actually be. Granted, not a return to glory days, but a surprise improvement in Disney's recent record. About time they start learning from Pixar.

Yeah, 'Max' the horse gave the story a backbone. The rest was kind of emo fluff.... don't get me wrong, well done emo fluff, but emo fluff none the less...

Saw this a couple of days ago, I was pleasantly surprised.

It was definitely a kid's film and the songs were not anywhere near the standard of the classics, and the ending I had already seen a million times, but overall, fun times were had. That horse should become a classic of animation.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.
