[RG]The Kiaal

Kiaal

I suck at keeping my creatures alive. I also suck at tribal stage and got the Careless Parent award. But I know my problem. I HAVE NO DETERMINATION. I can't do something for a second. So I'm starting right in the on the edge of the space stage.

Introducing the Kiaal
The Kiaal are a race of reptilian humanoids with a strange mix of simple and electronic technology. They are predatory carnivores that inhabit the misty jungle world of Kundi, which has never had a snowflake touch it's surface. It's rich in metals and despite having a small surface area, has a larger gravity than Earth. Because of this, it also has higher atmospheric pressure. The single large ocean in the center is surrounded by flatlands, rivers, marshes and gigantic deltas. All civilization is located on the fertile, coastal deltas.

Kiaals are bipedal digitigrades that evolved from small-prey predators. They have teardrop shaped heads which curve back slightly. At the bottom of their head they have a blunted snout, similar to D'ocra mouth from spore, which has 20 sharp, multi-use teeth and a triangular, highly flexible tongue. They have arms slightly longer than their legs which they keep tucked up to their chest. They have a small palm ending in two strange fingers which can rotate 180d so they don't need thumbs. They also use sexual reproduction and have two toes.

Psychology
The Kiaal have an extremely "general" psychology. That is, they don't have any major personality that defines them. They aren't war mongers but not exactly pacifists, they will destroy the landscape if they need to but wont go on planet sucking rampages. But in basic they are slightly communistic in spirit, often concentrating on their group than them selves and have a strange calmness about them when dealing with issues due to their predatory backgrounds. In fact, almost all of their distinctive behavior comes from this factor. That includes: Taking matters of death lightly, their curiosity about food, their strange calmness about everything and the way that they instinctively search for things that often don't exist.
P.S:it's complicated...

Technology

The Kiaal are on a basic note, o Earthly technological levels. Though what there scientists study and the distribution of it gives of a different feel. Firstly, when humans started using copper, the Kiaal were still using wood and stone but on a much higher level. They created towns of wooden huts at an age that humans would still be hunter gatherers. But then technological evolution slowed down. The Kiaal, with no metals, were trapped in an immense dark-age. It was peaceful and calm but there was no development visible. The outbreak came from a cultural advance, not  technical one. The first council was formed. They quickly took hold and marched through the ages. All the major visionaries were born in this golden era. But the council are a secretive lot. They stored masses of information and built with it Heartherth City, inhabited only by the gifted, the rich and the powerful. But of course they let some information leak through, such as mass agriculture to supply the shrinking wood stock, gear transport and most importantly the laser, which is much more advanced and desired on his planet than Earth.

SAY WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?

Anyway, Watcher, do clarify COMPLETE CONTROL OF EVERYTHING.
Who are you again and why in the world would you expect anything resembling rationality or civility in youtube comments?
