Day 5

When the shuffling of feet stopped in the council chambers, and all present were seated, there was an awkward silence in which the usually leading voice of one member was missing. One of the townspeople suggested that they wait, while another said that they should continue without him, and a third suggested they investigate his absence. All decided, a small party went off to his home while the other stayed warm inside.

Upon arriving, the search party found nothing unusual about the small home, save for one small detail. In the study, a bookshelf seemed to have a hinge hanging, broken, off of one side. The townspeople looked closer, and in attempting to slide the bookshelf away from the wall, saw it swing wide open to reveal a downward staircase. Their nostrils were flooded with an offensive scent - burning hair and flesh. Only one of them delved further in, past posters of superheroes and wanted posters, until he came to find the charred corpse of the most vocal member of the last few meetings slumped back in his console chair, his blistered mouth agape in terror.

Pinned to the computer console was a small scrap of paper. The townsperson picked it up and read the words.

"I've heard of Black Irish, but this is ridiculous"

Tesla was the Vigilante of the Townspeople.

There aren't any power stealers this game, Flamester.
Nefarious?  Nearly.  Ne’er-do-well?  Never!  Neither nearly names this narrator.  Naive and knowledgeable, notorious and inscrutable, this nascent Nero is known naturally as Neoadept.

And it seems suspicious that you wouldn't use your power every night if you're a cop. You didn't use your power on night 2 and as far as I know you weren't blocked.

Flamester

If we end up being wrong and Flamester is townie cop, that means GD and Person21 are mafia scum. So either way, it's win win.

Yup, obviously the mafia are dumber than we give them credit if they think "Dur didn't get report" is going to convince anyone.

Flamester it is.

Ah interesting, I can tell how this will end, a band wagon against be because I am confused as hell as to why I am not getting any reports back and made a mistake about the roles. In any case, /lurk I had high expectations of you, that you at least would find out my role and tell your allies. This is punishment for letting me down. Of course, I was playing a fairly hard role, albeit a role that gave me the most information. Mostly, the information was what I had received from the start of the game as my minor role.  So /lurk, you, out of all of them, should of realized what I am doing. Unfortunately, I can't afford to kill all of you off, as I can still win even in death. Yes, I do realize I am signing my death warrant with this post, but if it brings /lurk down with me, I am fine with that.

As to who I really am? You can find out when I am dead.
