If I do to much damage to the mafia, they will want to off me. Until I have enough information to deal a decisive blow against the mafia, I will have to balance on a very thin line.

Oh, what a convenient excuse.

Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

It wouldn't be smart to kill however the towns cop is right now, as it would confirm two people as mafia.

Depends on whether Tesla is telling the truth (I suspect he might be, which would mean, no, all deaths have been cause by town)

Day 4

The town dialogue became increasingly bitter with the passage of time, and so did the inching fear of death in the hearts of the unknowing innocents. Today was a Saturday, but a church service had been scheduled early today due to the dire need of some sort of comfort. Instead of meeting in the town council chambers, the townspeople congregated in the sanctuary of the church, and trying for once to be calm, waited for the priest to emerge. Minutes turned to hours, and patience wore thin - someone went looking in the priests quarters.

They came stumbling out and vomited. What had been done to the cadaver was unholy.
The poor witness, though, did produce a note that had been affixed to the door. It read as follows:

Have we all learned anything yet? No? Well it doesn't look like we ever will because lesson time is over. From now on you can forget the purple prose because we are in this game for the power. Try not to get blood on any of the nice houses while you point fingers in a blind rage, I think we'll be taking those.

Yours - The Mafia (Under New Management)

So, should we three cops give our reports.

From what I can tell, it appears Sam is clean.

No, guys, listen. If you're claiming to be a cop, give us the actual report that you got from the forger.
Not a winner anymore.

Sam, you don't mind me revealing your role do you?

Not guaranteeing it'll be correct though.

Well it's not like there's anything relevant that's still unaccounted for, unless you count the taxi driver.
Not a winner anymore.

Boy it'd be cool if we discussed this a bit.  Until future notice I'll just be over here voting for Lurk because, why the hell not.  Liable to change.  Lurk, nothing against you, hell I don't even really suspect you much, but I'm indescisive about all this.  Granted, now that I think about it, I don't think I have any reason to not suspect you either.

I'm so confused!  This is hard!  Nobody told me it would be so hard!
