Jesus, what was the working title?

Private McDetective and the case of the Uncanny Valley?
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

On the topic of uncanny valley:

Pretty motion capture!

Still not perfect, but it still looks phenomenal.

New trailer.  This one takes a look at the gameplay and investigations and whatnot.

Frankly I think it looks awesome.  Reminds me of Pheonix Wright a bit.  And it's Rockstar, so you know they'll have awesome dialouge.

As bad as the GTA4 port was, they need to get their act together and get these games on the PC.   >:(

Those facial animations. It's almost creepy how good they are.

It's because each of them are completely motion captured.  For all intents and purposes it's live action.

Yeah.  One step away from holographic.  Unfortunately, those faces are so hi-res, the rest of the body suffers from low-poly count.  But eventually, the entire body will be mo-capped that way too.  People are already doing rudimentary tests with that using several Kinects hooked up together.

I hear it's very good as long as you don't go in expecting run n' gun action all of the time. The focus is on the characters and how you interact with them and their role in a crime..

I've seen very very positive reviews. Apparently, having actual intuition when it comes to lying helps a lot. Pretty cool.
No way dude, you're trolling me.
