demes nox: my new planet
« on: September 22, 2010, 09:55:03 pm »
because I do love theme races, be it social networks (thulithotle), feudalist crusades(Machy), ashanti folklore (Iavolg), stomachs (shilo), or Islam (graidient. you didnt get this one? Alheivaeus is a allegory to Muhammad, the prophet of the muslim faith. not to mention the whole jihad thing), here is a new one from the ground up.

i'll tell you the theme this time too. just not right now.

(sorta) technical name: demes noxis

should be up in the next couple of days

the short version:

the world will appear quite hospitable to the airborn observer. it seems lush and full of life, almost catering exactly to your species needs. upon reaching the ground, it all seems prestine and glowing. so it is for a few hours. then, comes a strange feeling, euphoric, but somehow unsettling, but you cant quit place it. you shrug it off. color seems to be disappearing, but nothing unusual; night it approaching. you feel uncoordinated. you rest.

you wake in the night. no up and no down. something seems very close by and very far away. then you are it. you feel yourself running through the thrush, and a clearing approaches. you peer out. you see yourself.

you wake. it is light again, but still no color. the terrain has become stranger. impossible angles abound. contrast of light and dark is sharp. everything is blinding. you feel something is always nearby, in the edge of your vision.. flashes, strange flashes, repeating over and over. it is fearfull you feel in danger. but this place conforts you. you know if you leave the night will swallow you up. but this place comforts you.  you are part of it.

you are terrified of it. but you cannot leave. you stay.

Ever heard of capitalization?

Pretty good, but the lack of capitalization enrages me.  :P

Crazen rarely uses capitalization in his threads.

In a way, I actually kinda like it that way.

In any case, sweet epilogue.  :)

I'm getting some pretty awesome vibes from it! Hope to read more!  8)

Must be some difficulty finding the periods, though I'm not exactly sure since.

the lack of capitalization enrages me.

why?

Because I am a Capitalization / Spelling / Grammar / Punctuation Nazi.
