Ok fine consoles are a bit better at MP via console I.E split screen....However its now the digital age Internet = MP over the internet so i can get 4+ friends on the pc playing a MP game over the I.N.T.E.R.N.E.T

Yes, if you each own your own copy of the game.  The beauty of splitscreen is in its instant multiplayer capability, which is very useful in say, a university dorm.

But whatever, it's clear you're not going to back down no matter how many arguments we toss at you, despite not even willing to given them a try.  I'm not saying that PC gaming is no good, hell, I prefer it myself.  But consoles are awesome as well.  But fine, if you want to ignore this huge facet of gaming, be my guest.  You're only robbing yourself of the experience.  Just don't come in here just to tell us we're wrong for liking it.

Im actually trying to debate it, for a start i see the sense in splitscreen i my self used to used it a hell of a lot. However surely its a bit backwards now? splitscreen makes your screen smaller, which makes the game worse/harder to play?

Yes, but we were able to manage just fine with splitscreen back on 14 inch crt televisions, so why not on the HD behemoths we have nowadays.

Also, with splitscreen you can actually be with the people you're playing with.

Again Headsets and such like simulate the experiance, i guess i find split screen more of a family thing, and online for friends/competitiveness.

So you're saying that listening to a disembodied voice through a headset is just as good as actually being with the person?

Great game, love the firefight and the storyline was great especially the ending, made me want to go back and play Halo 1!

Playing split screen with friends is MILES better than using a headset and playing online.

This argument is inane and off-topic.
Who are you again and why in the world would you expect anything resembling rationality or civility in youtube comments?

How did anyone ever play Halo Multiplayer before there were jetpacks?
