Spore isn't on my computer!?
« on: August 19, 2010, 01:31:34 pm »
I go through the installation, and when its done, it never starts Spore. Spore doesn't even have an icon on my desktop. It isn't on my computer, if i try to search after it, it finds nothing. But if i go in the "delete a program" (I'm from denmark, so prob. not the right name.) Spore is there, and i can delete it so i can run the installation again. And every time i put in the disk it starts autorun, and i press "Autorun.exe" and nothing happens.

- I have an HP Pavilion dv6 with Vista, if that can help.

Check for it under program files.  It could be you're just not finding the shortcut.

Did you uninstall Spore before?
There is, of course, a difference between having a laugh with someone, and having a laugh at their expense

-Open "My Computer"
-Open Local Disk C:
-Open Program Files
-Open Electronic Arts
-Open SPORE (if you have Galactic Adventures, Open "Spore EP_1" instead)
-Open Sporebin
-Locate "SporeApp" and run game.

To save you some time, right-click "SporeApp" and select Send To: Desktop (shortcut)
