WAR!

The blood of gods runs through the planes. Kharrgan, the great Dragon, proclaiming himself the God of Destruction tricked the God of Peace, Rammelech, into destroying himself, then betrayed his oath and continued his rampage. The gods were spurred into action, factions forming nigh instantly. Thanks to the vile lies of Vaurer Indrus, Saulemene was torn asunder by what amounted to a deific lynch mob, who feared he would betray his fellow deities. With his last breath Saulemene uttered a spell of ultimate decay upon Vaurer, undoing his immortal status as a god.
The three High Deities, Vatkir, Iolar and The Lady seem unsure how to act, even their ultimate cosmic knowledge seemingly insufficient to diffuse the conflict.

Destruction half price
Destroying an army, city, order or civilisation costs half (rounded up) its creation cost as listed for this age.

For example, destroying Vaurlian would cost 4 points in this round, since the cost of creating a city during the god wars is 8. Destroying an army costs 1 point.

Panic!
Cursed by his former master, Vaurer ignores all his best laid plans and rushes around the plains in a panic. He can feel his power waning by the day, his immortality unravelling. In an amazingly ill-advised action, he embarks on the the process of transforming into a lich... a process which has never been attempted by a god.

Massive Demonic Incursion
The Cabal of Transcendence was nothing more than a pawn all along. A puppet of Atvaul, servant of Glo'boll the Demon Prince. In a fell ritual at Ashralore, the Cabal sacrifice their lives to activate the planar nexus in conjunction with the tower of warped reality causing a catastrophic planar explosion and manifesting the hideous form of Glo'boll himself. The Relexrin and Elexrin citizens and armies of Ashralore are scattered far and wide, and many are utterly annihilated.
The manifestation of Glo'boll now occupies much of the centre of Ashralore, his massive and ghastly form intertwining the tower of warped reality and his many strangling tendrils snaking in and out of the planar gates. Ashralore is renamed Urlamogotsa in the black tongue of demons, meaning "Desecrated folly of the mistress of feeble shadows and ghosts"

Summon Demonic Hordes
Glo'boll summons his demonic underlings to lay waste to creation. But his manifestation has drained much of his power, and they are but a trickle compared to the flood which is to come. Perhaps his mortal allies in the grinning knife will assist him for the time being. Demons are not so much a race as a broad class of entities, infinitely variable and just as infinitely horrible. They lurk in the Abyss at the boundary of the planes and thirst to destroy and devour all that lies within. To survive in our reality they must construct horrible forms for themselves, often using mortal nightmares and emotions to influence their shapes.

Demons are bad
Demons are beings of pure evil, they now have a morality of -2 (should be -3 but rules are rules >_>)

Corrupt the Guardians
Atvaul pours the malign power of the Abyss into the guardians of Ashralore, the colossal golems are infested with evil spirits and demonic energies, and serve the purposes of Lo'boll and his servants.

Destroy armies
In the planar explosion which opened the gate to the abyss and the subsequent invasion of demons, 5 Relexrin armies are utterly wiped out. The rest are simply scattered and in disarray.

Grand mobilization
With the motto Ashralore will not fall a great resistance is organized to take back the city. The Relexrin musted what forced they can and the Echlia where more then willing to aid to take back the city from the evil demons. This would be a chance for the Echlia to prove them self.

Recapture of Ashralore
A great might battle follows as the Relexrin and Echlia battle against the demons. The battle is brutal but the combined forces where to much for the demons and there forced to retreat. The victory became a great boost to the Echlia. The Angels finally got to show there the real deal fighting off the demons. So convincing where they that even the Demons where fooled.

Mandrake Split
Feeling that her master assassins were not safe living so freely among the goodly Fanth, Nahequi commands the Dark Angel to lead the Mandrake underground and to help them split off and become a race in their own right. Ogedveh obliges and assembles the Mandrake order for a great migration. Entering through the tunnels of the Skirrin, the Mandrake enter the perilous underdark, there to carve out their own empire. Already used to life without sun, they quickly adapt, becoming voracious flesh-eaters in the total darkness below. From their hostile environment and strange mutations their blood becomes a potent venom. They have a morality of -1.

Battle-witches
The First Coven prepare for war, training in the art of spear and hex. They are unbeaten in the art of combining magic and combat successfully, and lend their talents to the armies of the Ri Federation.

Raise Armies
The Ri Federation raises multiracial armies in their two largest cities, Luwari and Iloqui. These armies combine the tactical genius of the Sherub, the Nalori mastery of beast and spell and the Comiri's swiftness and martial arts.

Demand Queitar
The Ri Federation believes that Queitar is ethnically and traditionally Nalori, and that it should be a part of the Ri Federation, not a protectorate of the autocratic Gan Empire (especially in these times of strange upheaval). Ri diplomats are dispatched to the city to demand the freedom of the city, threatening the Gan with force if they do not comply and hand the city over. The Geldryn are also approached with an offer of cooperation, or at the very least, non-aggression.

Call a Great Hunt
In an unrelated matter, the Crimson moon assemble a Great Hunt, a huge ragtag army mostly composed of Geldryn and Nalori worshippers of Javoras, but with a few hangers on of many races and even some fey beings. The Hunt makes a few passes of the Deepwoods around Queitar before deciding on where their next killing fields should be located.

Keladi Responds
As the Federation's call went out to the Geldryn, the ancient tree Keladi, deep within Queitar, stirred for the first time in a generation to answer it.  So long as the Ri Federation left the Geldryn to their own affairs, and showed the forest the respect it deserved, they would have no need to worry of retribution.  The Geldryn needn't be any concern of theirs.

Ironthorn Prepares
Ironthorn was of course aware of the dealings in the world outside the forest and so the Geldryn prepared for war.  They would take all percautions to ensure war did not take place, but if it did they would be ready.

Canopy Disapears
As the forests around Canopy twisted and shifted, destroying any potential landmarks that outsiders may have learned of, the city disappeared entirely among the foliage.  You could look straight at the city and not even realize it unless you knew what you were looking at.  The city's location became a closley guarded secret amongst the Geldryn, nigh unfindable amonst the Deepwood.  As the Geldryn became rarer within the world, having gone silent within the city to avoid the war, even the existance of the city itself began being called into question amongst outsiders, with many simply casting it off as being a fable of a bygone era.

Birchand Watches
As most of the Geldryn vanished from the outside world's eye, Birchand stayed moving.  Roaming from city to city, he gathered information of the other races, while furthur spreading rumors of the nonexistance of Canopy.  Afterall, who would invade a mythical city?

Gather Warriors
The Comiri are not warlike by nature, but the loss of their ancestral leader proves too much.  Even Wanderlust offers up a legion to avenge their loss and retake the city.

Retake Tyriume
The full force of the Comiri descends upon the city, an once more the battle proves almost even, the warrior poets paying in blood for every Gan struck down.  But, inevitably, their righteous fury wins out.

Cavaros, drawn from his wanderings by his indignation at the Gan's audacity, stands before the gates of his birthplace, eyes lifted to meet the gaze of the invaders.  There is no rage in his eyes, only a measure of pity.  The Comiri are seers, but that was hardly necessary to foresee the battle's outcome.  Ha bows to his enemies and says in a wistful voice, "may you die swiftly."

And so it came to pass.


Repay in Kind
One dark turn deserves another and, it is considered, removing Kair Gaimir can only be a service to the world.

Gaimir tumbled from the heights of a topless tower, eyes catching the countless carved stones which composed it, each the work of a single Comiri.  Style changed as he fell, the art of one generation blending into that of the next.  This was the force he had dared to reckon with, the industry of a race, a legacy stretching unbroken to the dawn of the world.  To think that one man could topple such labor was foolishness, madness.

So dies Gaimir the Foolhardy, last of the line of Kair.

Inistios repays her demonic associates in spades by driving the troublesome Relexrin and Echlia from Ashralore and once more throwing open the gates to the Abyss.

Her followers watched in awe as the crawling horror of Glo'boll manifested once more around the Impossible Tower of Ashralore.  A few screamed and writhed as sanity was snatched from their weak wills, but for the most part those of the Grinning Knife were all too far gone to begin with.
