Okay, this was great. I haven't laughed so hard at a movie in a long time. Loved Mr. Tortilla Head and Spanish Buzz. And yes I did get a lump in my throat at the end.

Although a bit before the end when they were all about to fall in the furnace, I thought for a second it was going to end there with them dying. Then I thought, nah, they'd never do that. The scene just kept going and I thought... would they? I was running through my head ways they could possibly have gotten rescued and the LGMs didn't occur to me.

You weren't the only one who had doubt. I had to remind myself that it was still a kids movie.

So you guys may be wondering why you didn't see a preview for Pixar's next movie. A while ago, they announced that their next film was to be Newt. But they canceled it. Why?

You remember Antz/Bug's Life? Shark Tale/Finding Nemo? Disney's own Into the Wild/Madagascar? Those were just a few instances where the theaters were flooded with competing films that just seemed too similar. Right now, BlueSky is making Rio and Lionsgate with Alpha and Omega. Both films share an eerie similarity in plot. Involving some low-self-esteem male character meeting a female, highly independent mentality, and they both are forced to be in each other's company for the duration of the film and then they fall in love. Rio shares a much similar plot to what Newt would have.

Pixar was smart enough to can their film. But they certainly made some awesome concept work.

I saw the concept work as well. Almost a shame because you just know out of all the different variations on the film Pixars would have been the best.

Bummer. It almost certainly would have been better than Alpha and Omega, which is glaringly not much more than a furrys wet dream.

Yep, the next one is going to be Cars 2.

The only saving grace that might have is if it is, instead of a sports movie, an action movie with explosions and stuff. I also want to see more of the Cars world.

Then it is 'Brave' in 2012.

Actually, there have been rumors that Cars 2 was canceled too. Nothing publicly said about that though.

Also, this is pretty good.
