Metal gear off the top of my head.

I wouldn't really call the writing in any of the Metal Gear games 'good'. Its something alright... but I'm not sure if its 'good'.

i hate to say this but...some jrpgs >.>
and metal gear solid 3 was pretty good, especialy the ending

and team ico is brilliant

zelda games have some variety in their stories too, most people say its the same but not really.
and midna was pretty cool yo.
