Wow what a crazy movie, its so awesome, everyone here should watch it... You do see that brad pitt, the producer of this film, worked with tarantino and played in fight club as there is many elements reminding of said things...

Saw this over the weekend. I have to say I enjoyed it. After watching Spoony's review where he mentioned his brother hated it because the 2nd half of the movie starts focusing too much on Hit Girl I was worried I might not like it for the same reason. In the end that didn't bother me too much with Hit Girl being awesome enough. Although I do think they could have done a bit more to focus Kick Ass answering some of his Myspace requests for help.

Went and saw this with a friend. Another good night at the movies.

Some of you may think some little girl beating up bad guys is silly. Well, it is but it rocks.
This is a decently gory movie too. Don't think that just because this girl is in it that they kid it down. Hell, I'd say they did the opposite.

Whatever though. Fun stuff. Get some buddies and go have a good time.

Bloody good movie..

Some reviewers do say that a 12 year old gruesomely murdering men is distasteful.. But I say otherwise, so go see it!

I actually had to check IMDB because I was convinced you were talking balls there. I don't really think pitt did much to shape the film and really there's nothing especially Tarantino-esque about the film (Except the extreme violence and the fact there are some mobsters involved). But, whatever.

In the scene where Mindy gets into the office building to get her directions they play that whistling music, its very similar to the music brought in tarantino movies, also her outfit reminds you of that asian chick character in killbill. The extremely well fitting yet insane soundtrack reminds of fight club...

It was pretty good, I enjoyed the background message of the movie as well.

It was pretty great. The wierd thing was seeing it with my uncle and mom and them both loving it too. Didn't expect that.

I didn't think it was quite as great as everyone makes it out to be. It was a good movie but it isn't really something i'd watch again.
Turned out better than I thought it would, at least!
