New StreetPass games have been released! We can choose either a racing game or a stock market speculation game for free. Been looking them both over and they seem solid. All the previous StreetPass games have been a lot of fun, so I expect more good stuff from these new ones. Will have more info on the all once I get them and play. :D

How about that Mario Maker 3DS game? You can't share levels online, only locally.

Seems kind of pointless.
No way dude, you're trolling me.

Seems kind of pointless.

Not that I disagree with you. But for what it's worth they want people to be together for their multiplayer experiences. They haven't changed that tack since the GameCube was around and a Yamauchi ran the company. This has been pretty clear for many cycles now.

Then again, you can get that on the Wii U version. And maybe they'll patch it in later.

Look into SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Heist. They're very good.

What kind of games do you generally like? The 3DS has a superb library with all the DS games included.

They've remade a lot of classic Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest on the DS systems (easily ten games between these two). Bravely Default is a solid choice, though depending on who you ask (me) there are some stupid problems - the sequel is better. Radiant Historia is a wild ride if you like time travel weeaboo ****. Also Legend of Legacy or really any Atlus game. Etrian Odyssey if you hate yourself. Fire Emblem for the tactician in you! Even old Advance Wars games. Golden Sun! Kingdom Hearts too! Oh man tons of choices.

Yeah the 3DS is loaded with RPG games you can even try the Mario & Luigi RPGs. I will have to go back and finish the cross over with port Mario. Other games distracted me away from it.

Hot and new. You literally heard it here first! Good stuff.

This looks like the perfect replacement for my busted 3DS.

"hurr durr switch is a handheld they're ending ds support"

The 3D on the n3DS is way better than on the original 3Ds so I'm not sure about the wisdom of taking it out, though.
Not a winner anymore.

The wisdom is that the n3DS XL is too expensive and the new 2DS is probably still 50 bucks more than it should be. Especially when the Switch is only 100 bucks more. Plus, when you put the new and old 2DS and side-by-side, the original 2DS looks like a toy, which could hurt sales. The new device looks sexier and more like a "device", which may lend itself to better sales of a cheaper, hopefully noncompeting device. And it is a less-expensive version of their "exclusive" new 3DS hardware, now for the 2DS/budget? crowd.

I dunno, that's my guess.

Half-step consoles, maine. Their a little silly. Works better for handhelds as long as they aren't 200 bucks. :U
