I'm after a PDF that I saw here ages ago.

Like the title says, I'm after a PDF. It was like a history of all of these different space faring species (and they turned out to all be descendants of humanity or something). How they interracted with one another, how they lived, what they looked like, everything really. I distinctly remember the last page of the PDF being an alien holding a human skull and it was dated like 2 billion years from now or something crazy like that.

This is a bit of a long shot because this would been a couple of years ago, pre-Spore.

...and I'm done.
Well that was a cool read.
I also like how at the last picture the alien holding the skull is holding it upside down >_>

Is this the thing where humans evolve into mudflaps or something and are like... a waste filtration system?

Yeah it is, and it was a pretty good way to spend some time. Good read.

Very inventive, What happened to the Qu? It mentions in passing something about them being destroyed but that seems like way too bigger deal to just say "Then this happened" and not say who or what etc.
Never mind your own business.

Didn't it say they went on to different parts of the galaxy/universe?

That was great!

One of the best speculative fiction stories I've ever read.
